Commute

Situated conveniently in Essex County, there are several ways to commute to New York City. There is the Decamp Bus with several stops in Montclair, and NJ Transit’s Montclair-Booton Line that runs directly through the township. You could also drive your car a few minutes to Newark to hop on the PATH Train. NJ Transit

Montclair Schools

The U.S. Department of Education has ranked the Montclair public school magnet school system as one of the top six magnet school districts in the U.S. Montclair public schools have almost 30 AP classes, advanced STEM classes, environmental science, and gifted & talented programs. There are several outstanding student organizations such as: the Civics and Government Institute, Center for Social Justice, and the School of Visual and Performing Arts (SVPA) .
